FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

General Questions

1. Why do I have to wear lanyard on site?

We need our people to be identifiable to meet the school’s security requirement. For this reason, anyone who attends the church must wear a lanyard.

2. I am a TAS member (teacher, student, or staff).

For the sake of unity and to help us identify that you are a part of the church, TAS members also need to wear TIC lanyards when joining a TIC program.

3. What is the difference between Blue and Green Lanyard?

The blue lanyard is for people who intend to be part of the church and call TIC home. Blue lanyard holders have their name printed on the badge and do not have to return their lanyard every week. The green lanyard is for everyone else.

4. Where will my information go after I registered?

We only use your information for church-related purposes.

Green Lanyard

1. Why do I have to sign up and give my information?

We need to be able to identify and to know how to contact the people who join our programs. If you leave or lose something in the church and we found it, we need to know how to contact you. In the case of natural disaster or fire, we will use the data to identify how many people we have on campus and who they are. We may also need this data for other emergency situations (for example, in case you need immediate medical attention). You may ask your data to be removed anytime by writing info@taipeichurch.org with subject: Data Removal.

2. But I am only visiting.

For safety reasons, we need to have the data of everyone who are on campus, even if they are only visiting.

3. How do I get the blue lanyard?

You can get your blue lanyard by informing Level 1 check-in counter with your full name and the e-mail address you provided when filling out the TIC First-Time Guest Form. Or, please send an e-mail to info@taipeichurch.org with subject: Upgrade to Blue Lanyard and give us your full name and the e-mail address you used to register as a guest. Once you have reached out using either method above, we shall have your blue lanyard ready by next Sunday.

4. I lost my lanyard, what should I do?

If you lose your green lanyard, please report to Level 1 check-in counter and get another lanyard.

Blue Lanyard

1. Why do I have to submit my e-mail address or phone number?

The blue lanyard is for people who intend to be part of the church and call TIC home. For this reason, we need to be able to contact everyone who submits their data.

2. I do not have any e-mail address.

Please put none@noemail.com

3. Why do I have to submit my date of birth?

This field is not required. However if you submit this data, it will help us understand the demographics of our church and how to serve the body better.

4. Why do I have to submit my address?

We only require your city and your district. This data will help us to learn where our people live, so we can plan activities and ministries better.

5. I forgot to bring my lanyard, what should I do?

Please get a green lanyard and check in yourself at the green lanyard table.

6. I lost my lanyard, what should I do?

Please send an e-mail to info@taipeichurch.org with subject: Blue Lanyard Replacement and give us  your full name and the e-mail address that you used to register for the blue lanyard.
